What do speaker channels stand for?
You may have already noticed: soundbars have different speaker channels. These channels indicate how many speakers are in the soundbar. The first number represents the number of speakers, while the next number indicates whether there is support for low frequencies or if there is a subwoofer present. For example, 2.1 stands for two speakers with one subwoofer. A higher starting number indicates a greater number of speakers, resulting in a wider sound range!
